Plant Evolution Independent Gametophytes Population Genetics Simulations Fern Reproduction

I am an evolutionary biologist and post-doctoral researcher at Duke University.

In my research, I use bioinformatic tools to answer questions about genome evolution, epigenetics, biogeography, and population genetics. I am intrigued by the often-overlooked gametophytic stage of the plant lifecycle. I am also interested in exploring and improving how we teach science and use technology in the classroom.
